In 2009, Ms. Opett was named Vice President and co-leader of the Rochester General Health System Patient Safety Institute and then in 2014 the Vice President of Quality, Safety, and Regulatory Compliance for Rochester Regional Health. In June of 2017 was named Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer of Rochester General Hospital, a 528-bed tertiary and quaternary facility.
