Privacy violations are under-studied and under discussed. Many healthcare professionals are unaware of the 18 identifiers and definition of protected health information (PHI). Are you confident your narratives will comply with the Privacy Laws?

This professional development activity focuses on a real-life story of a PHI violation and the steps the MPD took to correct it. This session is interactive with a pre / post knowledge assessment and offers best practice strategies to safeguard PHI.

This session will meet the educational needs of CNOs, MPDs, and document writers who desire to follow the Privacy Laws.

Additionally, this course qualifies for ONE contact hour, or you can also select to download a letter of attendance.
