Developing An Effective Leadership Excellence Action Plan

Cassie Arp
Senior VP, Enterprise Accounts

This session focuses on the importance of leadership and its impact on outcomes, finances, and culture – all paramount ingredients in the foundation for an organization’s journey to nursing excellence. Learn about different ways you can evaluate your organization from both the unit and organizational level using data typically at your fingertips, as well as situations you’ll find yourself in that will require a Leadership Excellence Action Plan. This session will also help you to learn tips for determining the level of effectiveness of your action plan; considerations for keeping your Designation timeline in mind when building your Leadership Excellence Action Plan; and to learn some viable solutions when you determine your Action Plan is not effective.

This session is valuable to hospital leadership members who are responsible for evaluating people and performance, making hiring decisions, and who impact the overall outcomes and culture of an organization, i.e. nurse executives, hospital C-Suite members, directors, and nurse managers.
